Seachem Axolotl Conditioneris a concentrated aquarium water conditioner that makes tap water safe for axolotls by removing chlorine, chlorine and detoxifying ammonia.  It converts ammonia into a safe non toxic form that is readily removed by the tanks biofilter.  Axolotl conditioner also detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them.  Additionally it detoxifies any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels.  Axolotl is non acidic and will not impact pH. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to a 5 times normal dose my be used.
