o matter if your starting water is too acidic or too alkaline, this buffer corrects the discrepancy and quickly stabilizes the parameters.  In addition to adjusting the ph, it precipitates calcium and magnesium, which helps soften the water. It is composed of phosphate buffers, which allows it to maintain the ph without the risk of sudden fluctuations.
 
Add 2 caps full to a 20 gallon tank.  During water changes, add ½ capful to each 5 gallon bucket of water.  Continue to use water conditioner.  This is not a replacement for water conditioner that removes chlorine from tap water.
